COVID Safety Protocols
MCCS is committed to the highest standard of COVID safety. It is these uncompromisable protocols which ensure our organization will be able to gather together safely with a minimized risk of COVID exposure. Agreement to these protocols is REQUIRED for active participation as a member of MCCS.
MCCS Rehearsal Protocols Spring 2021

A face mask that fully covers the nose and mouth must be worn AT ALL TIMES, by all who enter the facility and throughout rehearsal.

All singers will be kept as distant as possible, with a minimum of 6-8’ in all directions.

Each section may be assigned a designated entry point to the rehearsal space.

Singers must sign in for each rehersal.

Singers will be placed within assigned seats, according to seating charts.

If a break is needed or given, singers must not congregate, and must remain distanced.

No food or drink will be available. Singers who desire water must bring their own bottled water.

Each singer must have their own individual Binder, Music, and Pencil. No supplies can be shared.

All persons will be required to use hand sanitizer upon entry.

Pianos MUST be wiped down with a disinfectant approved by the rehearsal location.
Participation in rehearsal is agreement to the following:
Must not have had known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19 in the previous 14 days, or any of the following symptoms that are not normal for you:

No temperature at or above 100.0 F.

Loss of taste or smell

Sore throat
-
Fatigue
-
Chills or shaking with chills
-
Congestion or runny nose
-
Significant muscle pain or body aches
-
A new uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing; or for individuals with a chronic allergic/asthmatic cough: a change in your cough from baseline.

Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain
-
New onset of severe headache
